We sat down this evening at dinner and a gentleman struck up a conversation with us from the table next to us. There sat a sweet couple; a Grandma and a Grandad – and proud ones at that. The Grandad resided in Tennessee previously (where I used to live) and Indiana (where Mitchell used to live) so that was a similarity we had but the gentleman was very outspoken which drove the convo. He pointed out Gentry and said that he is our greatest Christmas gift. To which is happily agreed… As the conversation progressed, he mentioned his shirt he was wearing and that it is so great that we have a shirt like that on him. He said children were gifts from God and that we were so so blessed (which we also happily agreed.) It was one of those convo’s you’re just happy to be a part of for just the fact that these folks are just SO nice. We didn’t talk about anything else really just a bunch of small talk, but I absolutely love people like that. So I hope you all love Gentry’s shirt (and outfit!) as much as WE did today.
