Now granted, I’m not teenager. BUT I do know one and that makes me just as cool right? <insert grandma emoji>
So we ventured off today to think outside the box and have some fun. We showed up at the Reno Hobby Lobby and asked management if we could take pictures. For Reno being so small I for sure thought they would need some catching up on the latest internet shenanigans but they knew right away what I was talking about. They happily obligated and we were off to the faux floral department. I didn’t have much expectations over these images – they were purely for fun and allowed me to dust off my camera since it hasn’t been in use much since I moved to Reno. I think I was pleasantly surprised how some of these came out!
What I brought with me
Other than my camera, I also brought some fun things to play around with.
- my prism
- a ziplock bag
- my son’s magnet block
These were so fun to play around with and helped me hide some of the signs and extra distractions.
Lastly, if you go, be prepared to have others interested in what you’re doing. Folks were SO sweet to us and encouraged us to keep taking pictures. I tried to stop shooting to make room for customers when I can – the last thing I wanted to be was a nuisance. So without further ado, here are some of my favorites…
