More ReSqueeze Please!
I am so lucky to get to sample some of the most inventive and creative products that I have come across in the baby products world. Today’s post is no different. Reusable, BPA free, dishwasher safe, refillable soft food pouches.
Pouches are all the norm when feeding your baby and toddler now a days. Portable, quick, easy, make pouchable soft foods the perfect way to feed your little one on the go. But you already knew that right?
So here is my confession. I wasn’t quite sure how this review was going to work out. My little man is a typical boy. He throws things, flings things across the room and definitely SQUEEZES food pouches until a Niagara Falls of soft food comes towering out of the spout which ensues his typical Gentry chuckle and Mama racing to clean it up before he makes an even larger mess. But I think that is where I fell in love with these ReSqueeze pouches.
The pouches are super easy to fill. I was wondering how this would seal up. But it worked great. Be forewarned that you must have the CAP on the spout BEFORE filling. If you’re sleep deprived as much as I am, these are the little things you just…forget:) Oh, and these are 6oz pouches. They come in 6oz as well as 9oz.
So on this specific day, I filled this pouch up with applesauce. Nothing fancy and sealed it right up. I nervously handed it over to Gentry and he scoped out the new package before he started to go to town. Totally typical of my little curious dude.
So he started eating as I cautiously was standing with my camera in one hand and a beach towel in the other.
Shockingly Gentry did not make Mama use the towel and ate the applesauce right up. Even handed me back the pouch for me to refill. GET THAT.
So the reason I think this was different from the normal pouches you can purchase at the store, is because I can determine how much food goes into the pouch. The pouch isn’t over inflated and I can get all of the air out before I hand it over to Gentry. I was also relieved to see how easy it was to clean. It is dishwasher safe (and freezer safe!) but I didn’t even use the dishwasher. Since the pouch opens from the end it was really easy to clean.
Some more cool things about this product that I learned…
- They are reasonably priced… Compared to purchasing pouches at $1.30-$2.00 at the store, these are $12 for a set of 4 which makes them about $3 each… But remember – they are reusable! To order your set click here!
- Their site I found has some pretty yummy recipes for your pouches
- If you make a batch of soft food, you can fill the other pouches and freeze them. That makes them soooo convenient on the go.
- The artist behind the design of the cartoons on the packages is so talented… A “Brianne detail” that I loved….
ReSqueeze is also Social Media friendly! Feel free to add them at their links below. I can’t wait to see your little ones pictures of them using these convenient pouches. Don’t forget to tag me in your pictures! And don’t forget to come back here in a couple of days to test your luck at winning a set of these pouches as well. A little birdy told me there is going to be a big Toddler Eats Giveaway coming up! 😉
